Key features

  • Keep it clean! Automatic watering system keeps water clean and healthy.
  • Easy install! Just drill holes insert and screw in to just about any container or pvc in minutes
  • Time saver! No more cleaning and refilling waterers daily.
  • Versatile! Use for poultry 2 weeks and up. Chickens, Ducks, Pea Fowl, Rabbits, and more
  • Weatherproof! Leak Proof O-Ring seal will not gum up or freeze like vertical nipples.
  • Using an 11/32” drill bit, drill 1 hole for each nipple placement. Holes should be at least 2” from bottom of container to avoid being clogged with sediment.
  • Insert threaded side of nipple in hole and hand tighten leaving approximately 1/8” to 1/16” gap. DO NOT MOUNT FLUSH. DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN
  • If using a sealed container, drill a few vent holes near the top of the container to prevent a vacuum being formed.
  • When properly installed, nipples should not leak however, plumber’s tape or silicone sealant may be used if desired. Be sure to follow manufacturer’s instructions and do not allow sealant to touch O-ring.
  • Use concrete or wood blocks to raise containers off of the ground keeping the nipples clean.
  • If you have birds of various sizes, place nipples at various heights (height of their back is best).
  • Nipples can be used with almost any plastic container including food grade plastic buckets, drums, and food containers.
  • Temporarily remove other water sources and allow the birds to see water released from nipples. Once the first few begin to drink, the remainder should begin use. Repeat as necessary.
  • Always keep water in the bucket clean and free from debris.
  • Horizontal nipples use an O-ring as opposed to ball bearings and are designed not to freeze up in winter. Works well with submersible poultry water heaters.

Good but my hens like to drink a lot :(

II put these in my big regular plastic 5 gal waterer so that even if the hens didn't like it I could just take the plug off inside and use it like normal. They did learn how it works but I think it just doesn't like to give a lot of water at one time. So the girls didn't drink as much as they normally do.

They DO WORK, and I didn't have any leaking - I drilled a hole a good amount smaller then what they are.
They are STILL in my 5 gal waterer, still no leaking so that is good.
I took a star away because it doesn't give much water when pushed. I kind of liked the cups better.
Works great

I love these water nipples for my chickens water buckets they are easy to put on the buckets all you have to do is screw them in which you can do my hand no tools needed although I do sometimes have to re-screw the nipples in from time time because they started leaking water from the buckets but overall I love them
My hens did not take to it.

Built great , no leaks
But non if my 16 hens took to it , no fault of product. Just my hens prefer the type which is on bottom of bucket instead of the side like this one.
Great product!

The chicks love this and so do I. I started them on chick nipples and switched them to these "grown-up" nipples at four weeks. I moved out the little nipples once I saw several of the littles successfully using these big-girl drinkers. I did my best to demonstrate by pushing the nipples and causing a drop of water to settle on the lower lip.

You'll need a drill and a bit slightly smaller than the insert "peg." I don't remember what size I used. I also squeezed a little silicone caulk around the edges of my drilled holes before screwing in the nipples. I don't know whether it was necessary... it was probably over-kill. At any rate they don't leak at all. I wish I hadn't been in such a hurry and used a bucket without a lid. The lid matters.
