We've been driving a motorhome, towing a toad, for some 18 years. The first two were gas, the next two, including the current one: diesels. We used a popular, put the box on the floor and clamp to brake pedal for years, not knowing there might be something better. It was always a hassle to install and uninstall the brake unit - and find somewhere to stow it when not in use.
My dealer mentioned the Air Force One system to me. After researching, I purchased and had dealer install.
Hookup is superbly easy: attach the air hose between coach and car. Its use is transparent - it just works.
If you have a motorhome with airbrakes, you need to get the Air Force One system. Take it from the voice of experience.
