Purchased the small size for our 14 pound silky terrier mix. Material is rugged enough and seems like it'll last for years. Straps are a little bit difficult to adjust, but nothing that prevents a good fit. Our dog is comfortable in it, it is easy to put on and takeoff, and the hooks are attached securely.

Our new pup is a very active breed, and pretty strong even at 4 months. A collar just wasn't doing the job on our walks. I had to pull very hard to get her to slow down, which in turn tended to choke her a little. I surveyed the harnesses on Amazon and really liked this one. My puppy's are amazing but little monsters that chew and destroy everything and both of these that I got still work perfectly and they have no managed to destroy them even through their teething phase. I love them because I can pickup my puppies with the handle on the top. They can be adjusted for a long time before they won't fit on them. When I got them they were 3 months old and they are going to be 6 months and they still fit with some readjusting. The vests are snug and secure and they wont be able to get out of it that easy which was a huge plus because they were fighting the regular collars. They toss and turn in the mud and I have washed the vests several time and even dryed them on the dryer on a med to low setting and it hasn't melted or gotten broken. One my puppies outgrow these size I will definitely buy again these vests but for adults. They are worth every dollar.

Our second harness from this brand. Sturdy and easy to put on. Our dog has matured now and filled out so went up a size. They hold up. No fraying after many miles of use. Easy to put on. The new one has a clip to open the neck so even better since she didn't really like sliding it over her head. Very timid dog, so love the handle to help her in uncomfortable situations. The chest ring was very helpful in training. Adjustment is a little hard but that's any harness, in my experience with all the buckles and slides. Would def buy again!
