I discovered this jerky a month ago and have ordered 3 more bags since then. It is literally so good, it's hard to put the bag down. I try to limit myself to about an ounce a day, but I usually don't make it past 4 or 5 days.

A lot of jerky these days is soft, gummy, and sweet. This jerky reminds me of when I was a kid living in Arizona, getting beef and venison jerky from my grandpa; stuff that was homemade and tough, but sliced against the grain so it was still tender. Back then, he never spiced it, but the hot and spicy version of People's Choice sugar free beef jerky; it is the perfect amount of spice. It tastes like BEEF. Like you're chomping down on a steak. I took some photos to show the superb drying method used and the pull-apart tenderness.

Overall, I'd say this is easily the best beef jerky I've ever eaten. I shared it around my office and several ordered some for themselves soon after they tried it. Seriously, it is that good; one bite and you'll never go back to the sickly sweet, gummy jerky that sits on store shelves.

On a side note, customer service is amazing. If you have ANY problem, they will immediately and tirelessly work to make it right.

This is the BEST beef jerky I've ever had. Just spicy enough to be interesting, but not so hot you're going to regret eating the bag the next day when you're dropping some kids off at the pool. Dry and chewy like jerky should be, not all wet and greasy like some of the others out there. I tried to conserve the bag and still ate the full pound bag in like 3 days. If you're going to buy the full pound bag, it's actually cheaper to buy it on the People's Choice Beef Jerky website, but if you're just going to buy the small size then buy it from Amazon for free shipping.

I was buying those 'moist' jerky from the market. I love the peppered ones. Then I found this...and this changed my jerky life. It is a "dry" type of jerky but it's not that dry. Literally after a few seconds on chewing on it, you know it's that good dry jerky. I don't know if I would ever go back to those "moist" jerkies

I ordered this bag on the heels of using up another product. The other was a peppered variety by another seller. I thought it was great, but too salty. So when my People's Choice Hot and Spicy arrived, I found that it was wonderfully spicy without overdoing it, but it almost seemed not salty enough. But it only took a couple of pieces before I realized that it was perfectly salted and spiced. One thing I wonder about is whether it began in heated brine. I ask because it has an almost gravy-ish finish, like it had been slightly cooked before it was dried. Well, whether or not it was, it works for me!

My friend told me about this no-carb jerky so I thought I'd give it a try. I got the hot and spicy flavor. It tastes pretty good although it's really not very hot at all, which kind of made me sad but I still enjoy it for what it is.

As far as jerky goes, it's really dry compared to most jerky I've bought in stores but I don't really mind. It also doesn't come in a resealable bag so I ended up throwing it in a gallon size ziploc bag to help preserve freshness. Not a big deal, just an inconvenience. I will definitely be buying more of this! I just wish I could subscribe to get it monthly or something.
