Vtech was better

We have two walking toys, this one and the v-tech one. Honestly my son enjoys the v-tech better. This one was super easy to assemble, even though changing the settings is a pain in the butt if you're trying to hurry. The sounds on this are just meh. The handle is great for helping a baby stand up straight, but it's too high for my 7 (almost 8) month old to pull himself up like pictured here. If it's on the lower setting and he tries to pull himself up (trust me, they'll try!) They'll just hit themselves in the face with it and here comes the tears 🤦"â'€ï¸ I probably wont return this, but I wouldn't buy it again either unless it was super cheap at a yard sale.. Hope that helps!
Only a couple problems.

This has been fantastic for my son! Even though he started independtly walking soon after getting it he still loves to play with it. The wheels do have traction and the rabbit setting allows it to move on carpet; however, my son was already close to walking so it was fine. It moved a little too fast that if he weren't already supporting himself enough I wouldn't trust it not to shoot out from under him. Additionaly, there is a design flaw. The setting for the speed are on the wheels closest to baby which means sometimes they get bumped or stepped on during use. He would go straight, bump one, and then be turning unpromped and getting frustrated about it. Now, I did try to switch the sides so that the dials would be away from him and this is the design flaw - you can't. The rights side has to go on the right side and so on with the left. I understand it's to keep the traction by the baby as opposed to ahead of them and risking the walker flipping, but I think it should be an option that once baby is doing well enough that you can switch the sides.
Very cute, son loves it.

This was a great purchase. We had originally bought another walker toy from Fisher Price, that my son loves, but when he was learning to pull up or balance himself, it just wasn't sturdy because the 4 wheels aren't as spread out so he would flip backwards or sideways pretty easily. I really like this new version from Leapfrog because it has more balance, and is more like a table top style vs an upright device so he can play with it from all angles, vs having to just stand in front from one side. Like other reviewers have mentioned, the little play phone sticker comes off very easily, on the first day my son had it in his mouth and the sticker is already chewed off of it on one side, so we put that away and will try to remove the sticker before giving it back to him (this should be corrected because all babies put the toys in their mouth). Only other small gripe I have, is they should make the teether toys removable, or make the material it's attached to, longer, so your baby can actually reach it into their mouth, its too short, makes it hard for him to really chew on it, so it ends up just hanging there useless most of the time. Overall, he loves this walker and its really helped him to walk a lot easier because it doesn't go too fast on the slow mode like the other walk we have does (on slow mode it still goes fast so hed end up falling), this one actually is slow and I think because of it being more table top and the wheels are more spread, it doesn't go too fast on the slow mode. We really like it, would definitely recommend.
Great

Great for beginning to walk and love that features are on top instead of on the side. My 10 month old loves it.
Best walker out there!

Absolutely LOVE this for my baby (got at 5mo. Almost 8mo now). Love all the leapfrog toys. Had bought my daughter a different walker first but she hated it. Bit the bullet and bought this and it was SO worth it. Before she could stand she loved sitting and playing with this. Now that she can stand she still goes back and forth with sitting and standing to play with it. She loves the cellphone and opening and closing the door. There are so many features on this that i don't get tired of hearing it play music and say phrases and our baby is obsessed. Easily keeps her independently entertained for over 30 minutes each time. Great investment
