Growing up in the 80s and 90s, I have a ton of printed photos of my friends and fun times we all had together. While it's nice that now I can take digital photos and have as many as I want online, it doesn't quite have the same feel as having a real picture I can hold in my hands. This new Polaroid camera is just great, it's a great size and it's very fast to learn to use, and the pictures are the sort of thing I'll hang in my home or at my office to remind me of the great times and memories I have now with friends. My fiancee and I just shared our first Christmas at home together and my neighbor gave us money for a tree. We decorated it and took a Polaroid which we gave to her. It's so nice to be able to take pictures like that again, and I would recommend this camera to anyone.

It's so easy to use and it's just like the old photos! I love it. It also has a self-timer so it's a plus. You can control the way it comes out. IMPORTANT PSA: after taking the picture, keep it in the dark. Put it in your bag or somewhere it's dark -- they develop best in the dark. Also, READ THE INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO TAKE PICS IN THE DIFFERENT LIGHTING ENVIRONMENT.

The only downfall is that it's super fragile. Mine after a few months of using it, it won't close. Where the film goes in, it just won't close. So if there's anyway/anywhere I can get that fixed please let me know. Thank you! Otherwise, great product.

A lot of the one-star reviews that I have read are about the camera not being able to take perfect quality photos and all that sort of stuff. This camera is not designed to take photos like a digital camera with exceptional lighting and quality and all of that. This is a polaroid. You either can overexpose your shot, underexpose, or leave it in the middle setting. A lot of the photos will not come out perfect but will still look very good and have a vintage style to them. The camera is very simple and definitely would be an amazing gift for someone. One downside is that film costs quiet a lot. A pack of 8 i-type is about $16 and this camera does not come with film fyi.

We got this camera for my daughter for her 8th birthday, and she loves it! She got to use it at the zoo today, and she does very well with taking pictures! This makes a wonderful gift. The photos from this camera gives off nostalgic vibes, and we love that! It's exactly like when I was a kid....so if you're looking for something with super high quality print this isn't the camera for you...but honestly we think it's so much better to take on trips and use for scrapbooking and hanging in the skoolie and such. It's super fun, and the instant print is great because we take and save loads of pictures on our devices and never print them!!! Anyway, my daughter, my husband, and myself highly recommend this little camera!

My older son loves all things from a different era and the polaroid is no exception! Even with all the digital technology out there, he wants to relish in "That's so cool!" items that require a human's interaction :) The fact that the film is expensive, I limited the number of pictures he could take after he opened it for Christmas this year... but HE LOVED IT SO MUCH!!! The only "down side" is the film has to develop and that wasn't the fastest so he had to get used to a whole new idea of WAITING PATIENTLY!!! Thanks for a wonderful glimpse into my own childhood with this great camera!
