I've been using this for a couple of weeks now. I'm not sure it's long enough to rate whitening effect but I didn't buy specifically for that. It absolutely helps keep my aligners feeling fresher and clean when I cannot brush. I took away a star because the freshness fades immediately instead of sticking around a bit like toothpaste or mouthwash.

I've had this pair of retainers (aligners used only at night to retain alignment) for three years now. They are still clear although there is now a very slight yellowing visible in some light - other than that they look new with no fogginess or anything else.

I typically wear them for 10-11 hours every evening and night. I use this cleaner before putting in the retainers. In the morning (after a good rinse under running water) I use Retainer Brite with the retainers in an ultrasonic cleaner.

I've not used a brush on these retainers even once. Using the brush means stressing the material and relatively early breakage.

My dental hygienist is also very happy with how little work she has to do on my teeth. Now I floss, brush, and all that but it actually started getting better when I started using this Eversmile.

One other thing? Each bottle usually lasts me a little over two months.

This is great on the go when I need to to clean my aligners after eating and brushing. Just spray them, put them on and slit out the excess. The taste is like toothpaste.

Honestly a lot smaller than i thought. Runs out fast cuz its a tiny bottle. Does it work? It sort of works for like minimal staining. Smells good though but i would just stick with the cleaning tablets and scrubbing with a soft bristle toothbrush.

This stuff is spendy, but it really does clean your retainers/alligners.
