Engine off, passenger door open for 15 minutes, install and done.
Results:
Instant removal of throttle lag and simulated speed boost. Sport+ will spin the tires from the jump in my 2019 R/T. Using the mobile app instead of the unit to change the settings was a bonus!

This thing works! I don't know what I was expecting but all I can say is wow! This may not add any horsepower but it feels like it adds a bunch lol! My 2019 challenger T/A was already fun to drive but the pedal commander woke this car up. It took me longer to open the box than it did to install it. Seriously like a 4 minute install. I got the Bluetooth PC36 and the app works great. The only gripe with the app is it doesn't show what mode you're in on the app but I checked on the actual pedal commander and whatever you hit on the app it changes on the actual unit. Be careful with sport mode+ because my car got scary lol. Stop worrying if this thing works because it does. No engine lights, nothing like that. Just remember when your installing to put your key fob inside your house and far away from the car, plug the pedal commander in, then go get your keys and have fun! Thank me later.

I picked up a 2018 Power Wagon a couple weeks ago, and I was extremely disappointed by the performance. I didn't want to unlock the PCM and possibly void the warranty, so I settled for the Pedal Commander despite seeing mixed reviews on YouTube (some very positive, some negative). I was told this part doesn't void the warranty (use your own judgement on this), so I thought it was worth a try. If it could get rid of the mushy gas pedal feeling, I would be pretty happy.
When I received it, it only took a few minutes to connect it. I don't think I have ever experienced such a simple installation of any product. Simply disconnect the small harness at the top of the gas pedal and connect the power command between the harness and the disconnected wire. If you don't trust the warranty claim, you can disconnect and reconnect the Pedal Commander in less than a minute and nobody would be the wiser. For my 2018 Power Wagon, I immediately noticed the difference. It didn't fix all of the lag, but most of the delay between pedal press and the acceleration was gone. For the first time since I bought the truck, I was actually able to spin the tires on pavement. As far as I'm concerned, this is the way the Power Wagon should have shipped. I've had Ram trucks before and they have always been very responsive. I don't know why they shipped the Power Wagon with such a spongy pedal.
I am extremely pleased with the purchase and recommend to anybody who doesn't like the squishiness of the throttle on their stock Ram. If I wasn't worried about voiding the warranty, I would have unlocked the PCM instead. For now, this is good enough for me. I am very happy with the results.
