Absolutely did not work.

I followed the instructions to the letter, I purchased 2 bottles and used a little over 1 bottle for 2 sets of clothing and then spent 4 days in the Amazon where I was bitten frequently through my clothes. The only areas where I didn't get bitten was the area underneath my life jacket which I wore on the boat. With all the preparation required by this product I was disappointed that I was bitten through my clothes within hours of arriving in the jungle

So I bought this for use at our cabin because of ticks but it never made it there. We have an in ground pool and our two year got over a dozen mosquitoe bites in an hour. I figure this stuff said it would work but i didnt have high hopes. I was seriously wrong and dont us much of anything else anymore. We sprayed all of the pool chairs and part of the fence. Everyone has been amazed at how well its worked. We've even stopped and sprayed a chair for someone when they bring their own and they will go from being swarmed to not noticeable with about 4 good sprays on the chair. We've had a lot of rain and done minimal respraying so I can't fully say if it lasts forever on non-washed items but it's lasted well enough that I think this larger bottle will last us well over a year. A few days ago I sprayed my pants from the knee down and from the crotch up with Sawyer Permethrin"”a bug/tick repellant. Said to last for six weeks and through as many washings. (It's routinely used by the U.S. Army .)

Coming back this morning from our pre-breakfast walk with the dog, I spotted a deer tick (the dangerous tiny ones) ankle high on my pants. It can have been on me for no more than 10 minutes.

The little bugger seemed not to know which way to crawl. It flipped over 2 or 3 times and then fell off. Himm, now that's what I call anti-tick power.

We live in NE PA and the ticks are HORRIBLE this year. Every time my husband would go out in the back yard or near our woods - he always came back with ticks. He's used this twice this year and NO ticks! Would highly recommend it. Not for use on animals - just your shoes and clothing.

I treated some hiking pants and shirts with this product. Hiked over 300 miles on the Appalachian Trail without a bug problem. Even rained 1/2 the time and stayed bug free. I will treat my clothes again this year. I this I even sprayed my backpack.
