I brought this awhile ago and finally tested it out AND IT WORKED!! I had medium sized box braids that stopped at my low back. ALL MY HAIR FIT! I had the back of my head in the water and fully submerged under several times and MY HAIR WAS DRY. I was shocked. My edges were a bit wet but nothing I can't handle. Would recommend keeping ears completely covered.

I bought a cap and well it was not for my large noggin or my hair (mid back length). It was supposed to be for long hair nah. This one came I will admit we laughed a bit at the size it is roomy. My husband put it on his head and he looked like a rooster. (Bald small head). I put it on and was in love. All my hair fit it stayed in place, it did not leak, it fit perfectly. This won't fit your head sleek like a racing cap. This is meant to accommodate your hair. I would 100% recommend it for thick long hair that you want to stay dry.

Hi, this is my first review for this cap. I am currently taking swimming classes at my local YMCA. I have a lot of big natural hair and occasionally wear box braids or other styles with a lot of bulky fake hair etc. I got this cap because the swimming school requires everyone to wear a swim cap and i actually wanted to keep my hair dry. The stretch is pretty solid so far but I have only been wearing it on my natural hair and in four large plaits (braids) that I do. I have been watching some videos to finds ways to not wet any of my hair but haven't found a successful way yet. I think this cap does good to keep most of my hair dry but the lower kitchen area (nape of neck) gets wet and I think my edges get wet a little bit but I am not 100% sure especially since I have high porosity hair and it takes a bit for my hair to retain water. Anyways, for the price and quick shipping I think this is good so far. I have only had 2 lessons so far. I will try to update this review as I take more lessons but it will be a few weeks until then as I learn to submerge my head underwater while in class. (I am new new to swimming and nervous about getting under water). but overall I am satisfied with this purchase. I hope this information makes sense. I will also try to take some photos and videos. Once I get some box braids, I will really put this to the test. good luck to all the new swimmers too.
