Blinds don't go up and down very easily

I bought these because of the price. I was able to put them up easily with the adhesive, I did have to use some of my own chip bag clips in addition to the ones supplies since the supplied ones did not hold the blinds up by themselves. I do not like how the blinds go up and own. It is very difficult to pull them up and down. I would suggest you buy these with the intent that they stay down at all times. They are serving the purpose for the moment, but I would call them temporary at best. I cannot complain about the price, in this case, I got what I paid for.
Cuts The Light Very Well But...

I wanted something that would cut the light, and these do that great. My paper shades were wearing out, so I thought these would be the same; however, I was wrong. While they cut the light great, at night, when your bedroom light is on, you can see people and movement through the blinds as they are of a woven fabric. I don't care for that as I don't use drapes. Can't return them, as I'd already hung and cut them to my liking. In future will know better. The paper contractors shades are just as good and you cannot see anything through them. Grr. I will leave with these for a few years before replacing them, and will be replacing them with paper shades of the same size.

These are a cheap window solution for situations like moving into a different home and needing a cheap privacy solution. They aren't well made for long term and nothing more than pleated paper but for the time being offers privacy and go up quick.

Great inexpensive blinds for my Ice Castle

My Ice Castle came with pretty ugly, minimal, camouflage curtains that barely covered the windows & they HAD to go. Stock Ice Castle blinds to cover all 9 of my windows are about $450. Nope. I decided to give these a shot because they're inexpensive enough to replace if I need to and I really just wanted something to block the light if I want to sleep in in the morning on the lake. The curtains I made do a great job for privacy, so the blinds are kind of supplemental & probably won't be used a whole lot.
These blinds are a lightweight, perforated, fabric-like material that is super simple to cut to size. I used a new snap blade knife with the blade sticking out quite a ways, pinched the pleats of the blind together tight and easily & cleanly "sawed" right through. They all came out perfectly. They're super easy to install with the built-in 3M adhesive strip, too.
All in all, these are a great alternative to the very pricy Ice Castle blinds, although I'm certain they're MUCH higher quality, these will work well for my use.
