This works. I was afraid I would break my mother's hip or tear her skin with the plastic or metal pan. She is basically paralyzed from the neck down . This pan is much easier to use than the plastic and metal ones.

This is the best product I have found for a bedridden patient. It stays inflated and is easy to clean. It also helps to protect the coccyx in a patient who doesn't have much "padding."
