I've been using these for a few years for two of my cats who have kidney issues that make them want to go outside the litter box. They will both go on pee pads, so my challenge is to deal with their instinct to "bury" the pee after they go. The latest version has the little silicone grippers on the back that stay in place even when one of the cats is really digging. These pads (older and newer versions) launder well and stand up to a lot of washings, but with these newer ones, just make sure the grippers aren't facing outward in the dryer or it makes a huge racket as they tumble!

I purchased these because my aging bulldog has developed epilepsy. The medication has controlled it but has also given her uncontrollable thirst. She's been housebroken for years but through no fault of her own, now when she has to go, she has to go, and we're not talking a little dribble. I bought these pads after reading a variety of descriptions from other incontinent pad advertisements. These are supper absorbent, wash well, do not slip on the floor, and come in colors so that they look a little more like throw rugs , now located all over the house, rather than glaring white pee-pads ( I can convince myself of anything.). In any event, these are great and have been a life saver for both of us. I'll be repeating my purchase of these in the future. Great Product.

Layering her bed is a time and back saver. These are really effective at reducing laundry loads and keeping her bed functional.
From the top: pad, fitted bottom sheet, pad, fitted bottom sheet, another fitted sheet, waterproof mattress pad, allergy and water barrier, mattress.
Depending on the oopsie, I either remove just the top pad and toss it in the wash, or remove both pad and sheet. A ready to use layer is right there. Taking the time to layer up is so worth it.
