Good looking white board, almost magnetic...

My home office is in the corner of our family room, so I wanted a dry-erase board that looked a little nicer than the standard, and this does that. Overall very nice unit.
Cons:
1. Mounting Anchors - I would suggest getting a different set of anchors if you are going to mount it to the drywall. The ones that came with mine were cheap junk and 3 of 4 spun or pushed though the wall when you try to hang this. (a two person job).
2. Magnetic (sort-of) - The unit is barely magnetic. The magnets that come with it barely stick to it and one magnet is really not powerful enough to hold a single sheet of paper to it. Your refrigerator magnets will NOT stick to it. They have a note inside the package suggesting you to buy Neodymium Magnets.
3. Mounting Covers (minor) - The little mounting parts in the four corners have little caps that go on after you place the screws. One was very tight, two pop off every time a kid touches them, and the 4th was so loose it fell off when I tried to write on the board. Not a big deal, but you may need to put some glue or bend the edges slightly to get them to stay on well.

Almost perfect.

If there was a paper template to guide the hole drilling, I would give a 5 stars. Customer service was awesome though.
A Most Excellent Purchase!

I bought two of these 3 ft. x 2 ft. glass whiteboards to stack in order to take advantage of the only wall space left in my office. I was flabbergasted at how well they were packed for shipping by the company. The delivery company (UPS) punctured the boxes during shipment, so I feared the glass boards were damaged. My fears were unfounded. These glass whiteboards are the newer design, with the mounting holes within the glass, rather than support brackets, so it was easier to stack them. I did not use the plastic tray to store markers that comes with each board, attachable by 3M sticky tape. The magnets that came with it are strong enough to hold a piece of normal paper on the board, though I wish the colors of the magnets were stainless or silver, to match the mounting hardware. The supplied markers worked well, and I purchased extra of the EXPO brand, which also worked well.
It takes TWO people to install the glass boards so that you can ensure that the holes line up properly. I used some of the enclosed protective cardboard to make a template because that cardboard was the exact size of the glass boards. I drew the holes on the cardboard that corresponded to the holes in the glass, put a center mark on the cardboard with pencil, and then held it up to the wall to mark where I needed to drill. Holding cardboard in place was easier than trying to hold the heavy glass board up to the wall to mark whiteboard placement, and minimizes the risk of damage. Wall anchors came in the package; however, to be extra safe, we used more heavy-duty ones we had on hand that fit the supplied screws. These glass whiteboards exceeded my expectations, and so did the company's careful packaging! Do not be afraid to buy them just because they are glass. I imagine these will last a very long time and will not have residual marker coloring over time, like traditional whiteboards.

Chose to go ledger boards over plastic anchors
Dan✓ Verified Purchase•August 18, 2023
This is a heavy piece of glass. The anchors that it comes with should really be thrown away. It seems best to use thin strips of strong wood as ledger boards and attach them across the studs, then screw a temporary plank in under all that to prop the glass up while you screw it into the ledgers. The thing is going nowhere now and is super stable. The marker holder is junk and did not adhere well, so will not be using it. The holes do no align with standard stud widths, which was the most frustrating part since the board is really heavy. Because of the odd measurements and hole placements, such as things like 1/16 inch offsets, all the measuring to have this mounted perfectly was a challenge. Now that it is up, it will be very useful and looks good. I had to invest in strong magnets and board spray. Tissues with spray seem to work better that the dry eraser. I notices an imperfection in the corner of the board once it was up, but it would be too much of a hassle to exchange to fix that since it is very hairline.
Very nice ðŸ‘
