if there is something I HATE doing is Ironing , after ruining a brand new blouse after my iron left some nasty stains that wouldn't come out even after Laundry and some stain remover spray,it was time for me to get a steamer, after searching for a while I came across this one , not only it does the job right, it's compact so it's always a plus when you live in tiny apartment, it's great for travel, and I must say, it looks good too :) will highly recommend it

The following is my first review, and an update is farther below:
I don't believe that I've ever written a strictly negative review, but I have to for this steamer so others won't buy this and burn themselves! This steamer worked like a dream for the first five or so uses. But I wish I'd started to use it sooner, so I would have had time to return it. After the first five or six uses, the steamer's exterior got so hot while warming up and during use that it simply could not be handled. I tried wrapping it in a towel, but it still burned my hand through the cloth. I had to resign myself to either trying to use it with an oven mitt, or not at all. The oven mitt was so unwieldy, and I could still fill the heat from the device. It's a shame, because the other reviews were great, and it started out seeming like a great product. I followed all directions and never dropped or mishandled the steamer; but still had this problem. Maybe mine was defective, but I can only go off of my experience. I would recommend against this product.

UPDATE:
Kudos to great customer service! Almost immediately after posting a one-star review, the manufacturer contacted me and offered to send a new steamer, at no additional charge. That was great! I am impressed at the customer service. The new steamer arrived soon thereafter. I have not yet had the opportunity to put the new steamer to full use, so I'm not sure yet if the product is better. The last time, it took 5-6 uses before it malfunctioned. The manufacturer has opined that my unit may have had a faulty coil (or something to that effect). I am increasing my rating to three stars based on the willingness of the manufacturer to make things right and provide a working unit in place of the one that I originally purchased. If possible, I'll update my review again after I've had a chance to use the steamer several times and ensure that it works dependably and well.

I absolutely love this steamer. It turns on right away (less than 10 secs), no leaking of water on the clothes, the tank last for a few pieces and you can even use it as a humidifier. It worked great for when my husband was sick! This is my 4th travel steamer. All the other ones have been the regular tank style, but the design on this is brilliant and it shouldn't have the same issue as the others ones of turning off and on in the middle of steaming. I think the problem with those is that you run out of water in the middle of steaming and then have to put more while the device is hot, and it messes something up in the system. No such issues here as it turns off immediately and the water in the tank doesn't get hot. Much safer option if you have kids or pets too and perfect for traveling. I will update my review if I come across any issues, but so far I am in LOVE!

Bought this for a recent destination wedding, figuring it'd be more convenient than dealing with the ironing board. Works well, quick heatup and steams as quickly as my larger one at home. Not as small as I'd hoped it'd be; husband already complained that it's too big to bring in a carryon (it's not, but it's not THAT compact). No issues with getting burned (yet), as there doesn't appear to be any dripping.

Works well. I use to work in retail and used a commercial steamer a lot but didn't have the space in my room for a standing steamer. Found this little guy and I really enjoy it. It was spurting out water but so do commercial ones. You have to make sure you hold it upright and if you don't use purified filtered water, you will most likely get clogged nozzle. You can fix by wiping with vinegar or run some vinegar through the device to clear it. One tank was enough for 2-3 knit shirts xs. Easy to store. Nice little gadget if you have limited space. Will see how long it holds up. The company has a 12 month warranty.
