I own a small acreage in southwest Missouri. I am in the process of improving my shooting range. I bought four of these brackets so I could hang gongs along a hillside. I liked the flexibility in choosing locations afforded by using T posts as vertical supports. I was ably to locate the gongs in spots where I have plenty of hill behind the target in case one of my guests misses the gong. The only thing of which to be aware is that T posts come in different weights. I was using T posts I removed when I replaced a fence and learned the heavier weight posts are not compatible with the bracket. No problem, just went back to the barn for an appropriate replacement. Learning from my experience, I sized the T posts before heading to the range when my second set of brackets arrived. These things are relatively economical and they are a breeze to use. I'll buy some more when I get around to buying more gongs. For now, four gongs will have to do me though. They could be used to hang paper targets too. I have another system that I use for hanging paper so I won't bore folks with that method. Get a set of these things and have some fun ringing steel.

This is just a great design. They are cheap and they work well. I've even welded directly to them for when I didn't want to use wood

I'm only giving them a 4 instead of a 5 because I had to file down my initial 6 brackets to get them to fit certain T-posts. I happened to own two types of t-posts which I thought were exactly the same but apparently the same size T-posts come in slightly different sizes out int the world. The filing didn't take too long though and it was easy. I do really like these and used them to hang targets and to build shelves for knock down targets using 2x4's. I'll be ordering more.

This is a review for a T post mailbox bracket. Our mailbox is a continual target for snow plows. In the middle of a midwestern deep freeze, unable to pound a post in the ground, our mailbox & post was destroyed. With this simple bracket, in about 10 minutes I had a t post pounded & the mailbox attached. It's super temporary, and if wasn't under 20 degrees for a month I could've made this myself. But for $15 I didn't have to. I got 2 brackets for that money. In a pinch it's serves it purpose.

The brackets are great. Making my own target systems for friends and family. Unfortunately, I won't we buying these off Amazon any more because AMAZON WEB SERVICES (AWS) is an ENEMY of "legal" FREE SPEECH. "ALL LEGAL SPEECH MATTERS" even what I'm saying now.
