Sticky bottles

This smooth-tasting corn syrup tastes just like the competitor. It pours well. However, I must echo what other reviewers have noted: the bottles arrive sticky and the top label isn't sealing the bottles. The plastic bottles aren't protected in the package. The package this came in arrived busted (from transit) and one bottle oozed syrup and created an ant fest outside my front door. Otherwise the bottle holds well in the hand.

1} the labels on all of the bottles are pulling off. Maybe that's just me, but I don't like that.
2) the bottles stay stiiicky on the outside (even the sealed ones) despite my efforts to clean them off. My other bottle of corn syrup (Karo) has never presented this problem. Perhaps it's because of the wider mouth? Or perhaps there is no pour control on the lip?
Other than that I REALLY like this Lovesome White Corn Syrup with Vanilla -- it is mild, sweet and has a lower viscosity than Karo. (maybe that's why the bottles are always sticky on the outside???).
It makes a great sweetener in my morning coffee, too.
Next, I will try baking with it. I gave a bottle to my coworkers' daughter who wants to make a pecan pie using it. TBC.
UPDATE -- the Pecan Pie was DEELISH!! Subtly sweet, melt-in-your-mouth delicious.

Flimsy Plastic Bottles Ooze Product out of Closed Lid and Safety Seal

This is a plastic bottle with a lid and a safety seal but despite this, the bottles leaked and oozed during shipment. I am mentioning this as a product design flaw and a poor packaging choice by the manufacturer. I don't believe this is ONLY a shipping problem. With heavy liquids honestly it seems that hard and durable GLASS is sometimes best. The plastic of this bottle is SOFT and flexible and when squeezed the sticky corn syrup oozes out of the CLOSED LID even beyond the safety seal! I don't feel this is a safe food to consume since it is not hygenically sealed. See photos. The box arrived with product oozing out of the bottom and all over the ground as well as bottles all stuck together and unusable. Rating 1 star = Hate It.
