Classy little guy!
Allyn✓ Verified Purchase•February 1, 2018
So cool!! I bought this for my husband who is a hunter and loves wine. This little guy is classy and super fun! It does aerate, but flows more slowly compared to our other pourer/aerators, and I'm impatient. Definitely glad I bought him though! He looks so neat on top of our liquor cabinet.
I love the other animals better.

I love these aerators and I have a number of different animals. As pretty as this eagle is it's not great because the mouth opening it too small. Wish I'd picked a diffeeent animal. But it's is pretty.
NOT A DEER, it's a moose. Bought it ...

NOT A DEER, it's a moose . Bought it as a gift for a deer hunter and didn't notice that in the package until he unwrapped it. 😡
Very cute and detailed. Fun to have

Very cute and detailed. Fun at parties. Aerates very easily, but not as well two piece cup style. But is great for the price! This is my RV aerator, as with alot of use it is separating slightly from rubber gasket on bottle side. But I love it. Buying another as a gift!
Looks great, but it doesn't actually work at all!

I've wanted the gold bull version for some time and recently purchased it. Upon delivery, I was super happy to see how fantastic it looked in person. It has a nice heft to it, not overly weighty yet not flimsy.
As I discovered when I tried to use it for the first time tonight with some guests, the way it looks doesn't matter at all because, unfortunately, it simply does not work. After removing the cork, I inserted the freshly rinsed aerator for its first trial and zero wine poured out the mouth. Just a bubble eeked out of the air hole on the back, I removed the aerator and tested by blowing with my mouth, but "“yep!"“ no air flows through the animal's mouth hole either. So, basically, it looks pretty, but who cares because you can't get any wine out of it.
Update: I used a flashlight to look into the mouth and found that indeed the aerator was cast solid. This is confirmation that there is no hole for wine to flow through "“ none at all! I've uploaded a photo showing how it's solid inside, so anyone can see why this product doesn't work.
