I bought this as a special tool for a special time/activity. I was looking for something pretty, something respectful, and something reliable that I could use when it came time to cull our chickens, and this was it.
Well, it got the job done. The patterning in the Damascus is a bit more textured than I anticipated, and blood is a little harder to clean out of that than I originally assumed, but that's fine. If I gotta butcher them, the wife can clean the knife! :D
