I bought these for a surprise hawaiian themed birthday party and they worked out great! I bought them without realizing they are stretchy and have velcro to attach around waist! These literally fit around any shape or size. I know because there were many variations of ppl at this party. I'm talking from the range of 100lbs to atleast 200lbs. Some of the stringy colored things did come off of some but not enough to make a difference.
