I leave it up all year so I can just shoot when I feel like it. I spray the plate, hardware and chains with silicone or WD-40 so it doesn't rust from being outside all the time. I keep a shovel out there for the snow in winter. More fun to shoot than paper targets, you can see and hear the impact of a hit. I still use paper targets to sight in a scope though. These gong targets are the best I've had and come in many sizes. Make sure you mount them correctly. It is easy to do.

Works great you can hear the ping from over 200 yards when I shoot my neighbors can hear it lol great target for all calibers from a 22. To 9mm all the way up to my 50 AE to a 223. I've even tryed 300 H&H and a 32 Winchester special 7.62x39 280 270 243 I've tryed almost every caliber on it just a few small dents

WE Got the complete set for $219. AR 500 1/2" steel. Shipped real fast (Prime). We used 3/4" x 5' conduit for legs and 1" x 10' conduit for cross bar (there seems to be a little bow, will probably reenforce it with 3/4 conduit x 9'10" run through it. it works right now. Now lets talk about it being Bullet proof, the photo shows 2 red circles on the hanger, they are circling 2 bullet strikes from a Kimber 1911 .45 cal. 240 gr. ACP FMJ at 10 yards. The shooter missed the target!!!! WE just received this complete system on 07/24/2023. BULLET PROOF? YOU BETTER BELIEVE IT!!! AND BROTHERS AND SISTERS WE ARE SOOOOOOOO GLAD!! The other photo shows how hard it is to see the 6" target at 10 yards. Folks if your into steel with big guns, then you need 1/2' or larger targets if you can get larger. Be safe with shooting steel!

Good sturdy product I just wish it had 2 hanging holes instead of the one
While I don't have issues with this product itself I keep having to replace the chain on it. Where as I don't on the larger gong which is designed with 2 loops instead of one. The only thing I can think of it its twisting and warping the links
