The cutest thing ever. It's so perfect in my office! It takes a while to get used to all the paw bumps since it's not the traditional design, but it's cute and everyone can get used to anything.

Perfect Size. Could always go bigger but I wouldn't go any smaller. It doesn't have much of any padding, so it doesn't create hardly if any drag if you push on your mouse like me. I have received compliments on it.

As other users mentioned, I immediately noticed a very strong, and annoying rubber odor the minute the package was opened. I like the pad and wanted to see if I could do something to reduce the smell without having to wash it with soap and water. I sprayed it lightly with a fabric deodorizer and let it sit outside for a couple of days. The odor is slowly dissipating, but it will take a few more days before it's reduced to the point I can use it.

Other than the smell issue, this pad looks good on the desk and works great. It has a rubber backing so it stays in place, and doesn't slide on my wood veneer desk. The top surface appears to be a thin nylon fabric which has the map print. This top surface allows me to slide my laptop around with a minimal amount of effort, otherwise the laptop does not slide while I'm using it (which is good).

What I really like about this pad is the border and stitching around the edges (see photo). Other mouse pads eventually begin to fray at the front edge, so the border will hopefully reduce the chances of this particular pad fraying.

PROS:

This protects my desk from spills, scratches and wear from moving a laptop around on the surface.
Large amount of real estate, it's huge and has plenty of room.
The world map is a nice design, and a great idea, it looks good in the office.
Surface of the pad keeps my laptop fro sliding when I'm using it, but it will slide easily when I add a little effort.
Bottom surface holds the pad in place on the desk.
A drop of water goes through the nylon type fabric on the surface, but doesn't make it through to the desk.
It's large enough I can rest my elbows comfortably on the pad and use the laptop.

CONS:
The odor, it's really strong and unpleasant in a small 10x10 office.
I did NOT want to take a chance washing it with soap and water yet, but I suppose it may help reduce the smell.

I love this thing! I have a glass computer desk and this fits perfectly. I protects the glass and there is enough space for the keyboard and the mouse to be moved around without touching the glass. The only con i would say about this product is that some of the cities are not legible. They are blurry and you can't read them. And some of them are faded.
