I purchased this item on a short timeline because I had a karaoke show to host and needed to convert my signal from hi-fi HDMI to a slightly analog monitor. Many of the new monitors come with a default HDMI but my monitor was an older PC monitor. The image quality was good. In retrospect, I should have ordered a longer cable so as not to need an extender but that is no fault of the manufacturer.
I have had one of these for over year now and it still works fine. Just a heads up - give yourself a few extra minutes to plug in the cables while all connected devices are powered off then turning them on. Your devices will need to reconfigure once everything is connected. But it shouldn't take more than 5 minutes. Ultimately, I would purchase this again if I needed another.
