Use this to replace the outer drum seal on my LG front load washer I've done it several times without a tool and it took me over an hour each time with this tool it took me about 20 minutes it's built fairly solid and I think it's okay for occasional use not sure about long-term regular usage though My only complaint would be that it had some notches in it so the tool didn't slide out so easily when you're trying to open it up.

This is a specialized tool for dealing with Washing Machine retaining springs. It stretches the spring out so you can position the retaining wire to secure the door seal to the front panel. It worked on my LG front loading Washer perfectly.
