This is a great checkbook cover.
It's made of genuine leather, with a pebble grain finish.
An added feature to this fine product is RFID to protect your card numbers from being hijacked by thieves using a reader of some sort.
I also like the size, it's just right to hold a few dollars, nice and flat, without having to fold them.
Closed, it measures 6.5" x 3.25".
There are six slots for credit cards, drivers license, appointment or business cards.
The opposite side has a clear plastic window for easy viewing of ID or appointment cards if you choose not to carry your checkbook.

If I could go back in time, I wouldn't buy this again. It needs a zipper to close it up. My check book gets beat up in my bag because the cover doesn't close. Also, there aren't enough card slots. And the pocket for under the card slots where dollar bills supposedly can be stored is a tight fit. I guess what I really needed was not a checkbook cover, but something a bit larger. Oh well.

Great, great item! The leather is looking and feeling excellent, the sewing is well made and it is well compartmented. The size fits my hands and it is big enough for all monetary items, cards etc. and small enough for carring it with you all the time, in any bag. It arrived very well packed, in a cute box and i couldn't be happier. I always wanted to replace my wallet, because it seems all women wallet are big and bulky and those for men are too small, so i think this one is just perfect.

Leather on all checkbook covers is pebble grained and supple. I wanted different covers with the same checkbook cover design and these fit the bill perfectly. They are used for different checking accounts, so the colors help distinguish which account I'm using. I immediately treated the outside of all five covers with leather gold, an oil-based leather conditioner that will protect and soften the leather. Four of the five covers are now in use with different checking accounts, and are working well. I like the RFD blocking feature which will be employed when I travel and need to take one or more checkbooks with me as well as some credit cards. I like having the peace of mind that I'm protected from remote electronic theft of data.

This checkbook cover exceed my expectations. I ordered the red and the color was a beautiful subtle red that is still easily seen in the dark depths of my purse. The leather is textured but still very soft and nice to the touch. I am not using the card slots, so I have no input on how easy or difficult it is to slide cards in and out. My check book and register fit in quite well.
