I like the looks of this type hood latch, seems to be made out of sturdy material which should last for a little while. these hood latches were put on a 2017 wrangler jku. I gave a 4star for the install due to passenger side nuts to the old latches and new of course were tricky to get to. the latches come with back spacers which I found with my vehicle, made the latches to tight to close the hood. So I had to figure a combination between hood and body spacers to make the desired tightness of the hood latches when they're closed. combination was achieved and function and looks are very well liked.

No more hood jumping up and down from wind turbulence. The original rubber hood latches were horrible. These hood latches eliminated the hood movement while driving down the road and look so much better the original equipment. Easy to install. Quality construction. Highly recommend these latches.

I like them. I just put them on, I have not driven my Jeep to see how they secure the hood. The directions were not the best but they are not difficult to figure out how to install. I did have some problems with the plastic pad but I made it work.

It is a huge PIA to install the lower bracket if you have large hands like me but that is the fault of Jeeps engineers. Also the set comes with both JK and JL spacers and unlike in the video you no longer have to reuse the factory bump guards as there is now a tab that goes in its place. I am very impressed ðŸ‘

I changed out the OEM latches on my Wrangler JK for these because I was getting some hood flutter. Install was pretty straight-forward and not terribly difficult. The latches and hardware feel solid and now I have no hood flutter at all. Overall, I'm pretty pleased with these.
