It's really not that hard

Let me preface by saying I'm a 45 year old female with arthritis setting into my finger joints. I got this thing together, by myself, in about an hour at 10pm on Saturday because I was awake and bored. Yes, the instructions are terrible "“ but common sense should get you through it. The fit is tight and getting your hand inside to hold the nut is a bit challenging "“ but hopefully you only need to put them in once. Yes, the center panel is flimsy and doesn't fit flush "“ but you aren't making a milkshake. Unless you plan to roll this down a hill at top speeds, I think it will hold alright. So far it only has one banana peel inside "“ and it's doing just fine sittin inside there.
GREAT KIT!!!!

OK... so assembly is required and if you are not visual and don't intuit well from pictures this may be a challenge, but it is a GREAT composter. Be patient and don't rush through the assembly. Learn from my mistake...along with lining up the holes in each panel make sure that you have all the tabs in the holes as well or the panel won't make a flat seam. The hardest part for me was getting the middle panel to seat...but if you do it as the instructions tell you it should be fine. My kit came with 60 screws and nuts to satisfy the 56 needed for assembly ( and these nuts are directional so you need to screw them on with the spin washer toward the screw). It took about 2.5 hours to assemble. I might have been faster if I hadn't needed to redo some of the seams. I have already started using it. THRILLED with the purchase. it rotates smoothly, looks good and is well designed.
Fairly easy to put together and seems to be working quite well

Took a little while to put together, but not that bad. Used it as a fun Saturday morning project. Pretty clear instructions. Needed another pair of hands at the end.

So far, I'm filling and spinning my compost bin every other day or so. It's starting to fill up a bit, after about 3 weeks of use. Instructions on composting were pretty clear, but I did a little investigation on my own, too. Hoping this works because it's pretty easy and you'd be surprised how much veggie waste one family creates that isn't going into the landfill because of this compost bin.
I'm Very Happy With This!

I love this. I'm very glad that I didn't get anything smaller than 43 gallons. I took my time when assembling and it was easy to put together. The box that it came in was a good size, not huge as I expected. It seems to be breaking this down. I put kitchen scraps, a little peat moss, chicken manure and a small amount of compost starter. The temperature has been at around 100 degrees. It must aerate well because the compost doesn't ever smell bad, it smells good, in fact, if you like that rich compost-y smell. I'd like to have a larger one. I think the price is fair.
A nice, compact design that holds a lot of waste.

Well constructed and the parts fit together nicely. You'll need long arms or a helper to get the last few panels installed. My only issue was that the assembly instructions were not real clear on which way the baffle in the middle is installed and I certainly could not tell by looking at it - either way didn't seem to fit. Otherwise a nice composter with enough volume to handle a surprising amount of waste. Assembly hint: take advantage of the self locking nuts and thread the nuts on until they touch the plastic, then you can turn the screws without having to hold the nut.
