STOPS LEAKY SHOWER DRIP COMPLETELY, THAT'S WHY I PURCHASED IT. I CAN'T REPLACE MY LEAKY SHOWER VALVE WITHOUT RIPPING DOWN WALL. THIS WILL ALSO VARY FLOW RATE AS MUCH AS YOU NEED BY CLOSING VALVE. REAL SS BALL VALVE, NOT BS PLASTIC INSIDE. NO FLOW RESTRICTION WHEN FULLY OPEN. VERY EASY TO OPEN & CLOSE, IT HAS A LONGER THAN OTHERS SS METAL HANDEL THAT ADDS LEVERAGE. I'M BUYING A SECOND ONE NOW JUST IN CASE I CAN'T FIND THIS IN THE FUTURE, LIKE 10 YEARS OUT BECAUSE THIS WILL ABSOLUTELY LAST LONGER THAN THAT!!!
