I love Temptu, I've used their products for my video/ photoshoots for years and I got my mom HOOKED on the products! I bought her this set for Christmas and realized while wrapping gifts I over bought for her and decided to put it aside for Mother's Day. Fast forward to Mother's Day when she opens it there's no instructions and no cleaning solution as advertised both on Amazon & the box!

The S/B premier makeup collection box says it has the cleaning kit and foundation starter set and 4oz of cleaning solution which it DID NOT have!

If anyone has any answers to how my mom can clean her set without the solution or while we wait for the company to ship the 4oz cleaning solution I'd be very grateful! She was really looking forward to using this gift set!

I'm very happy with my purchase. The compressor is variable speed and easily handles the makeup. The air brush gun is one of the best guns of its size and type. It's great for a beginner because the air flows continuously so you only need to control the amount of makeup you are applying. I practiced on sheets of paper a few times to learn to control the coverage and concentration of the makeup . After only a couple times doing this I was ready to move on to people. I was able to achieve beautiful results on my first attempt (on my daughter). After that I began using it on my clients and the results are beautiful. The makeup itself it so nice. You can blend for a custom result if needed. The makeup lasts all day, thru sweat and tears and heat and humidity. I've seen it hold up to hours of dancing and as well as 90* temperatures in near 100% humidity for hours during a senior photo shoot. Even with the senior continuously wiping her forehead the makeup didn't move or break up at all. It also photographs beautifully!!!!

I wanted something that was a little bit more portable, so I bought this works great

UPDATE: Stopped working after 2 weeks. I should have known, if it seems too good to be true, usually it is.. This is SUPER freaking annoying.. Be advised, maybe mine was some sort of fluke, but for some reason, after only 2 weeks of having this, I went to use it this morning and no air is coming out of the gun. I have taken fantastic care of the device, I clean it after EVERY use, I haven't messed with the gun, or the compressor, in any way. To say I am disappointed would be a gross understatement. I had really high hopes for this thing and as you can see from my initial review, it worked like a dream up until today. So, I'm giving it 2 stars, for working great while it lasted, but I am subtracting 3 stars from my initial review, for the mysterious breakdown, and for crushing my soul. I no longer will be recommending this to anyone I know.

I initially bought the Luminess Air, and was was disappointed to discover that the machine is designed to only use Luminess brand makeup, which isn't cheap, and not very good quality. It only has an on/off button, so there is no adjusting the PSI, and it's a really low PSI that it's permanently set at, so makeup is always getting clogged inside of it. I saw the Temptu on YouTube, and decided to give it a try before giving up on airbrushing altogether, and I am so glad I did! It is so much better than the Luminess. The gun is made ten times better, and all the parts, down to the hose, are made of exceptional quality. Also, Temptu, I understand, makes their makeup with a silicone based formula, which isn't as cakey as other airbrush makeup. You build layers, which are called "passes", which creates a very natural, but full coverage finish. My skin looks so flawless, now. I was always wondering if maybe I was doing it wrong with the Luminess, and it must be my fault that my makeup never turned out the same as other people that have success with their airbrush makeup, but it wasn't me at all. This machine is super easy to use, and also, I use a fraction of the product that I used with Luminess. A little but of the Temptu makeup goes a real long way. And best part is, not only can you use any makeup you want in this machine(you can even buy the liquid to mix your favorite powder foundation), you can also switch out ANY airbrush gun, and the compressor will work with many of the leading airbrush company guns. Highly recommend this, I love this thing, I only wish I would have gotten this one off the bat. I thought I would save some money and go with the Luminess Air, but you get what you pay for, in this case!

I love this machine however I'm excited to upgrade. I love the brand but I did not receive the airbrush holder and can't seem to find one online. I used this starting out and it's easy to clean and works well on clients. Olathe hose can pop out sometimes but easy to fit back on.
