Good solid dog igloo but my dog isn't an eskimo

Seems well made and sturdy. The vent at the top comes off to easily though and the dog has removed it and chewed on it. I added Tabasco and now he doesn't like to chew on it anymore. Sometimes he goes in the back and scratches as if he is trying to dig through to China but he hasn't gotten through yet so again thumbs up for sturdiness. Overall I like it but I can't use it. My wife often wants me in the dog house but I'm 6'2 and 280 and I can't fit through the opening. I've tried and it got real ugly real fast. Plus The dog could use it but doesn't like it unless its really hot or he's looking for Gen Tso. there's my review for what it is worth. Had it 3 years now and still standing strong.
Well we use it for our 16 year old cat - The roomiest litter box ever ;)

We have a rather large (long in shape) cat that never fits any regular size litter box. He is 16 years old and does not crouch so when I saw this igloo shaped house, I new it was perfect for him. He can walk in and out with ease and can stand upright without feeling crowded. It has been the perfect solution for us ;)

It took a while to arrive, but I chock that up to it being a big package & not main priority for the postal service. The box was in pretty bad shape too, but the item in question was relatively fine. There was a little crack on one side, but once you put the cover on, you can hardly notice it unless you are actively looking. All and all, I am satisfied.

I'd been feeding a neighborhood feral cat named Moe and letting him sleep in my unheated enclosed porch. I'd previously purchased the self heating cat bed and was satisfied with item as was Moe. I wanted something additional to give him extra shelter from cold and wind. Igloo shelter took less than 3 minutes to assembled and was very sturdy. I put Moe's bedding in first inside igloo and placed 2 different self warming cat beds on top of that. I draped a few wool blankets on top for additional insulation. Moe did not hesitate to enter shelter and make himself comfortable. It snowed again last night. I checked on Moe before I went to bed that night and he was in warm restful slumber. I would highly recommend this product.

This shelter is water proof but has a vent on top that can be opened for ventilation on hot days. Because the entrance has a slight curve, it allows the pets to cuddle up in the back of it, out of the weather. I put a small rug and a pillow in that area and they stay warm and dry.
