It's easy to install feels well constructed
Shawn Star•June 4, 2018
It's easy to install feels well constructed. Of course theres gonna be a gap that needs filled not sure why some people were surprised about this and gave it a negative review. Its supporting a 12,000 btu ac unit and doing it well I live in and rent a place that was built in the 1800s so drilling a bracket in wasn't really an option and not having a bracket wasn't either due to being on the 2nd floor and having the original window frames. It's doing its job holding strong taking the pressure off the window I'd recommend it to any one.
Like the bracket

Like the bracket. Will work as advertised. However, what's with this prime thing. Got this well past the two business days and it's not the first time. Just wondering.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

I've had this item for about 3 days. And so far it works great for a 1500 BTU window unit.
This is very easy to assemble and install.
As of now, I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this item.

Protects window sill. No drilling. Easy to install.

It was a little expensive (but I signed up for an Amazon credit card and got a big discount) but it went together in a snap. The tenant put it in himself with no issues or questions in minutes. There are gaps but we plugged it with some foam pieces. I'll let you know how it holds up. I had brand new Renewal by Anderson windows and this appears to protect the windowsill lip, which was my main worry. You should discount when you buy more than one!
Great, sturdy shelf!

Purchased this product for a younger brother. His windows are flush-mounts, which eliminated several similar "no-drill" models. At the time of purchase, this item had no reviews, but the specs seemed to be right, so I ordered it. My brother says it was easy to assemble, easy to install, and very strong. He also says this is easily the best A/C mount he has ever used. Big thumbs up!
