I purchased these because on of my friends at another site teased us all with their variety pack they had received as an early Christmas gift. I was entertaining for Christmas dinner so I decided that this would make a wonderful addition to the appetizer table.....and howdy they sure did. Before the dinner even came around I slowly made my way through the rabbit/venison one; it was so enticing that I just kept going back for a little here and a little there for a couple of day then before I knew it that sausage was gone. Even though the sausages are only 4 ounces there is plenty. Heck, I did not even open all of them because of the amount of meat it made....I do admit that when I slice such I do so in a very thin fashion such as what sliced salami or pepperoni comes as. The flavor is remarkable on the ones I served and everyone loved them. Nice thing about these is that many of these type sausages are greasy messes yet I found these very lean for a summer sausage. If you want something different I highly suggest trying these
