I wouldn't pay full price for this but it was definitely worth the price I paid! My 11 yr. old son is having fun with all the different options. It's a neat project & is keeping him busy while learning...but he'll have to treat & store the cardboard parts delicately in order to keep playing with this.
Only one problem that I hope you can help with. Otherwise, great product.

We bought this for my 10 year old grandson. He loves it and is able to understand how it works. I would rate the product a 5, but there is one small problem that I hope will be quickly resolved. The plug on a black wire on the forward/backward switch is missing. The product is educational and my grandson, who loves building Legos went nuts over this. He is having a great time with it. We just need this one item replaced quickly. Thank you.

Love this set!!! Bought it for 7 year old who loves legos and building of all sorts. He sat for about 9 hours straight (not kidding) setting it all up and connecting the electric components the first day and then took it all apart and started over with a new design! Didn't ask for his iPad once!

You have to judge the right age of your child, depending on his attention span and dexterity. It's a great kit for those who like building.
