I didn't realize how many knitting needles and crochet hooks I'd amassed over several decades until I gathered them together to insert into this holder. The photos say it all. I really like this holder! It holds all my needles and all my hooks with only a little crowding. I labeled each slot myself with a Sharpie. I'll be traveling with this holder in a week to give lessons. It's exactly what I wanted.

Fabric quality is really nice & sturdy, stitching is strong, Pattern & Color are just as pictured (I got the Navy Leaf). I planned on using this for my paint brushes, but ended up dedicating it to my colored pencils instead cuz I saw how nicely they accommodated the many varied shades of each color making it easier to locate what I'm looking for (vs. sitting up in a jar). The depth of the zippered pocket on the side is about 3 1/4" X 7" - a real handy feature to store erasers & a pencil sharpener, (or sewing needles & small scissors for knitting needles.) I love how you can just roll it all up for easy storage & transportation which is why I sought out this type of container. You get the versatility of clear display & ease of transport without the restrictions of an inflexible hard plastic box that'll just mix up the contents anyway. I can just pop the roll into my portable easel or beach bag because it'll flatten out inside the easel box & not push back the way a plastic storage box would, ... AND it's more lightweight! Love this case & will probably order another fort my paint brushes! (just have to decide which design). :)

The bag is beautifully crafted - great value/money ratio. My longer knitting needles don't fit inside but it has plenty of room for everything else. Needs smaller pockets but I can add those with a few quick stitches. I'm sure I'll get many years of use from the durable fabric.

Wow, what a find! I really like this needle roll. There are plenty of slots for my knitting needles, circular needles, crochet hooks, DPNs. And there's a handy zippered slot on the side for stitch markers, cable hooks, blunt sewing needles, even small scissors. There's a flap sewn across the top that's long enough to cover the ends of my needles so they stay put inside the roll. The fabric feels like durable canvas and I love the navy leaf pattern. I've been thinking of making one, but I couldn't make one this nice for this price, so I feel like I got a quality bargain.
