This bag is amazing. I would call it an essential for backpacking and minimalistic travel. I've used it while hiking in Colombia and Brazil and many, many beach days. I also use it as a small gym bag while traveling. I clip it to the outside of my backpack on flights to save space. I also used it for grocery shopping and I could fit THREE 1.5 L water bottles.
THIS BAG SAVED MY PHONE! In Rio de Janeiro there are random times when a huge wave will bring water very far up the sand, taking people by surprise. You can see videos of this online and people lose their phones, shoes, bags, everything. My bag was completely submerged for a moment but the front pocket stayed completely DRY! I have a tiny hole somewhere from all the use, so a notebook got a tiny bit wet, but definitely not a lot of water.
It's thin, light, but very durable for the price.
If you're a digital nomad, you can easily fit a 13-15 inch laptop inside if you're going to work in a cafe or something.

I got this backpack after reading the review about using it for Disney. That was my main reason for purchasing. I wanted something lightweight, easily packed in my carryon and would still hold some Disney essentials. This bag delivered. It packs down in the carry bag to maybe the size of your fist and when opened was able to hold 2 slim 20oz water bottles, rain ponchos, wallet, battery pack and charger cord, souvenirs we got in the park (these were smaller items not huge stuffed animals) l, small umbrella and sunscreen. The straps aren't thickly padded like most but are a mesh. I was a bit concerned they'd not be strong enough, but they were very sufficient and since they're mesh don't overheat your shoulders. The bag is water resistant but we didn't encounter any rain on our trip. If you're heading out for a day trip or to Disney I'd highly recommend this bag.

It's a medium size backpack, tropical color which I love. Recommend light weight items, it's strong with strong stitching. Easy to storage, and great price compared with any store retailers.

While not a backpack I'd want to wear for any serious hiking activity, this is a perfectly serviceable light-duty backpack to take while traveling or for a short hike. Good size to stash snacks, jacket, hat, etc., with side pockets for water bottle, phone, battery bank, etc. The shoulder straps are the only real drawback - by necessity they are very thin (to be packable) so they aren't padded and don't offer much support, which limits how much weight I'd want to have in the backpack. No chest or waist strap either, but I'm considering adding a snap-on chest strap to add a little stability.
Used this as my carry-on for air travel (nice to be hands-free in the airport!), and while touristing around foreign cities; I also take it on short hikes because i dislike carrying things in my hands. Good to keep in the purse for spontaneous shopping also, since it packs down into its own little bag. Can't comment on water resistance, haven't used it in the rain yet.
