It seems nice and durable and not too scary to walk on even now when it isn't all done

I love spending time on my front porch but hate the cement floor. Unfortunately I'm currently renting and can't make a permanent change. I decided to try a pack of these deck tiles and am so happy I did. They look amazing and are so quick and easy to put together. I found that you can put them together straight or in a check pattern which is great because I love to change things in up. I've had them set up near my door for a couple weeks and they're as perfect as when I bought them. I'm happy with their quality and will definitely be purchasing more in the future to complete my porch.

The tiles came in a bigger box that didn't have any extra packing in it so it was basically unnecessary. The actual box of tiles was packed tightly with thin foam sheets separating the tiles.

The tiles themselves are made of actual acacia wood and are pleasantly smooth to the touch. They are one foot square and made of 6 long planks interlocked over a plastic mesh. If not on perfectly level ground they will flex a little when you step on them. They sit firmly in the ground due to the structure of interlocked pegs underneath. They work well on grass and dirt but not stone or carpet.

The box comes wtih 11 tiles, which is an odd amount and a little annoying. An even 12 would be preferred. The individual tiles have the connecting loops and pegs on 2 touching sides allowing you to both easily drop the pegs into the holes and decide which way the planks are arranged. It's all very simple and easy to rearrange or disassemble.

They are priced reasonably and are a relatively cheap, low commitment way to make a small lawn or path look a little nicer.
