We used these on our last trip which involved a couple of planes and airports. The locks worked very well. I like it that they have four numbers in the combination instead of three.

I followed the instructions carefully but one did not change the combination correctly. Therefore it is now unusable, as I have no idea what #s will open it. The other is fine. I had ordered this pair plus a 4-pack, all same brand. All of the other 5 worked correctly. It's a shame that one of these is now useless, as I really wanted purple...

These are very nice locks. The real purpose is to prevent a zipper from opening by mistake. Since anyone can buy a TSA key, they are not intended to protect the contents of your luggage. But thats another story. I've used the locks on a number of trips and they have all held up nicely both in checked and carry-on luggage. They are a good value for the money and the same quality as a name brand "lock".
