Very soft and comfy for him, not too thick like many sweaters. My dog hates hoods on other sweaters so this is great. Keeps him perfectly warm and not hot and looks great on him.

Ive bought 4 of these, one a double fleece, same maker. They all are very nice, stretchy, soft, easy to get on and bright colors. We use them for liners to wear under winter coats or as a casual sweater. they work best under a chest harness so you dont have to mess with lack of leash hole, which is the only downside. I sewed a hole in one then just said eff it for the others and just pull the sweater down to enable the lead. there is a seam that can chaff, just flip it inside out with smooth side in for a dog with little or no hair, others that are furry it wont bother. the double fleece is thick and adds more warmth, its just two of these sewn together. SIZE: they stretch so if in doubt go smaller, as when it stetches it can cover up the pee area for males. sizes of my dogs are 23 lbs daschuan wears medium 14 good, chippet, 14 lb wears a 10, chippet has a big chest, scrawny long neck. i originally got him a 12 but it stretched too big, 10 is perfect. gave the daschuan the size 12, fits.

UPDATE: had these for a bit and they all stretch and move around so that if you have a male dog the area where he urinates is covered up. Ive put in stitches to hold up the hemline to help. still like them but beware, buy smaller than you think. normal size just hangs off them after some wear

Izzy is very lean and has wire hair. She gets cold easily, especially in the mornings when it's a little chilly. I can slip this on and put her harness over it with no issues, and she seems a lot warmer and happier. May buy another color!
