Don't spend a lot of time attempting to make this track straight. I tried hanging it outside in 100 degree heat, this did not help. I tried bending it against the curve with my hands, this only caused problems later. I did, however coil it against the curl, this helped undo enough of the bend to install. I installed with a nice 90 degree bend in one end and it looks great! placing the ceiling holders about 11 inch apart holds it straight and using the curve from shipping made my 90 degree bend very natural.

Overall a great product for alternative privacy. Package arrived in great condition within the guaranteed timeframe. Package does not come with any instructions. Comes with 15 ceiling brackets and 15 screws, though the brackets have two holes so I needed 30 screws to hold everything more securely. I would recommend using a laser along your ceiling to make sure you're attaching the brackets in a straight line. A lot of reviews stated it was a process to straighten the railing out as it is bendable but if you attach the brackets to your ceiling first and the brackets are straight and secure all you have to do is unwind the railing as you clamp them to the brackets. Very easy to install for one person with a step stool or a ladder. Took roughly 45 minutes for me to fully install. Another note, while this product does come with rail wheels for you to attach curtain or whatever you're attaching, you will need hooks or curtain rings to attach your curtains to the rail wheels. There are 40 rail wheels that come with this product so depending on how tight you want your curtains you may need a set of 40 hooks or rings. Great product for the price, I'm amazed Home Depot or Lowes or any other hardware store doesn't sell anything like this. Since I live in expensive Southern California, this is an excellent alternative for sharing a 1 bedroom apartment and creating an extra personal space with some privacy.

It does not come with instructions but after figuring out design of how I want the track to be it was easy figuring out how clamps go. The curved up part of track is for the wheeled pieces the flatter part gets clamped into metal pieces that attach to ceiling. Only comes with 9 screws but each metal clip has two holes so that would be 18 needed. The curtains I am using are black out curtains from IKEA which are a bit heavier so used some screws I had to double up on each clip. The tracks are pretty flexible and still look mishapened even though I bought three tracks and used the hardware from the three but installed only two tracks still looks curvy. Needed the extra support of the track due to curtain weight. I was told they do not sell extra hardware. Also Sit the track out in the sun to soften up. That makes it easier to unbend into a somewhat straight line without so much effort.

This is pretty easy to install. We used it to hang a sheet in front of my son's bed to make a fort. The hooks slide easily. For what it costs, it's a very good value and sturdy enough. My only complaint is that it comes in a roll and it's difficult to make straight. Ours is hung kind of wobbly.

I used this as a changing room rod for my LuLaRoe business and it works wonderful. Only thing confusing was putting it up, I figured it out but would have been nice to have directions.
