I am new to the powders, but this kit comes with the applicators which is so convenient to start off. the powders are super pretty! altho I am not much of a fan of the mermaid powder, it gives it a matte finish even with a top coat! images show it on a clear sample, have yet to try on color but can't wait! i think holographic and chameleon are my favs!

I have already purchased this a second time because I went through the mermaid powder so fast. The photos show the same mermaid powder - the first is over a coat of opaque baby pink, and the second is over a teal cat eye. The time to cure for perfect mirror is 12-14 seconds and there isn't any wiggle room outside of that. However even if you don't master the mirror cure, this chrome powder will look amazing regardless.
The pearl powder is also great, but the mermaid is my favorite. Only downside is I wish I could purchase just that one, in a larger size as I felt like I went through it fast and I don't want to run out!

Very very small containers of chrome. These are mirror chromes only. Nothing else. The title/description made it sound like it was gonna be pearl, chameleon and mirror, but it's only mirror.
Also, somehow they packages 2 #4 and no #8 so now I'm missing one. Not really in the mood to send it back just for the 1 color but still disappointed.

These are great. Each powder comes with its own applicator. I have an issue with the powder coming off onto my top coat brush. I definitely recommend these they are affordable and cute!
