Nice big bag carry 5 text books
Comfortable

The bag is soft and comfortable. The pockets on the side are just the right size to hold typical water bottles. I do wish the front pockets, or at least one of them, had a flap to close it.
A Great Hiking and Nature Journaling Shoulder Bag

A good bag to use when journaling is one that has space to carry important stuff. This bag has two end holding pouches for holding a water bottle or other quick access items. It has a flap front folder cover that is easy to flip over to the back exposing the two lower front holding pouches for quick access to drawing and painting items. The main top pouch is wide and deep to give me access to my 14x10 journal book and other objects like extra separate item pouches of my own materials. The shoulder strap is adjustable to hang the bag near my hip. It isn't waterproof which would have been a plus, but not critical. It has only one small internal zippered pouch for holding important items like keys, phone wallet etc if desired. But otherwise everything is open for quick access. Heavy duty cotton duck material is excellent. All in all a good value.
Only disappointed!!!

(HAVE ONLY HAD THIS CANVAS BAG SINCE AUG 28, 2023)
Within first day of using this bag, 1 small drop of my coffee had dripped onto the side of my of my canvas bag. I then used a napkin & even paper towel that were dabbed w water trying to remove the itty bitty stain drop, but somehow the canvas wouldn't go back to its original look & the side became ruined from just a couple wipes.
I rly do like the size, durability, adjustable staps & pockets of this canvas in truth.
However, for it to be super duper easily ruined just from1 small drop of coffee is a complete thumbs down for me & I do not recommend purchasing!!!

Messenger bag was larger than I expected & also lighter color than I expected. Still very acceptable for traveling. Can't say more as I haven't yet traveled with it
