This is so good. I was afraid it would be too salty but it is not. It's so nice to have on hand for pizzas, omelets or that something extra in sauce or soup. This is what won me over to freeze dried foods. I rehydrate the sausage in several different methods and don't follow the directions EXACTLY. But use them as a guide or desperate survival method. We like it steeped with bone broth instead of water and kept on heat but not boiling, till fully soft and moist. STRAIN if not using in soup or stew.

Really liked the price and convenience just in case shtf. With the plandemic it's hard to say when the next one will hit and it pays to be prepared!
Opened one can and it was delicious with my storage bought container of eggs from same company.
I have a freeze dryer but wasn't inclined to do the work for sausage. I'm more a jerky, eggs and vegetable/fruit freeze dryer.
The containers are excellent, came undamaged, and store for over a decade or more.
