I followed the advice of other reviews and ordered a much smaller size than I usually wear. I'm 5'9" 175 pounds and I purchased the medium. Fits perfect (even the sleeve length was excellent). It is a little thin, but for the price, you can't beat it. Would order again.

This was the perfect lab coat for what I needed. I am a preschool teacher and when we do science, we put our lab coats on. I have no complaints at all! I had to return to get a smaller size, but I will never complain that something is too big :). I got the next size down, and it's perfect!

So I really like this lab coat. It's very cheap which is always nice especially if you're only going to use this coat for one semester. That being said, I probably use it about four hours a week and I've already started to notice some wear and tear, and I just bought it a little bit ago. Furthermore, something I don't particularly care for is I feel like the coat is a little thinner than if I had gotten it from my school chemistry site. It might not be important depending on the type of materials you're working on how your coat thickness is but if you are working with materials that are very dangerous, that is something important to know. Overall, I think the coat is very nice. I am on the bigger side and this coat if anything is big on me.

Gave it a 5 even though I didn't give any of the categories a 5. It worked really well has a costume doctors coat. It was thin, but not to thin for what it was being used for. I would also say it runs small order a size or two larger, figuring you are wearing it over other clothes.
