I was very nervous to purchase this luggage set due to the number of people that have had trouble with the plastic protective film. I can say for sure that the plastic did not go under the hardware or wheels on any of the three suitcases that came in this set. I was pleasantly surprised that it took me less than 5 minutes to completely remove all of the film.
When I first purchased, the largest suitcase was crushed on one corner. I processed the return, and it took less than 2 days to receive my replacement in perfect condition. I have not used the luggage yet, but I am very excited to. It is a more candy apple red than the pictures would leave you to believe, but personally I think this color is even better than the wine red.

This review is solely based on appearance because I have not traveled yet. When the luggage first arrived I was a bit disappointed because it was a dull black. I realized it had a protective lining that needed to be removed which made it more to my liking. I added scarfs to the handles for a small personalization. The the luggage is very spacious and each piece comes with a lock that was easy to set! I'll be traveling within the week and hope I don't have problems with the handles breaking or edges cracking like I've seen in other reviews.

The media could not be loaded. Nice, glossy hard shell. Looks great. However, all three pieces have protective plastic that needs to be removed. It was a pain, time consuming, and was put on the plastic shell before the wheels and handles, etc., so it didn't tear away clean.
