Good for more than just cookies

As a mom of teen and pre-teen boys, I was at my wits end with all the bread crumbs in the butter dish. This thing solved that problem! We load up 2 kinda soft sticks of butter in it and use a nozzle attachment to easily squeeze butter onto toast in the morning. Works great!

I wasn't sure what to expect. I needed a cookie press at the last minute and found I could get this one quickly. I had a very old Mirro one that broke and was looking for something like that to replace it. It arrived today and at first the tube seemed small and like it wouldn't hold much dough. I filled it up and set to to work. I was amazed at how well it worked! I was used to twisting and turning the old aluminum one I had and having a difficult time getting the dough to come out. This one was effortless. A simple pull on the trigger and the right amount of dough was dispensed. I made 2 trays of cookies in no time. Refilling was a snap. Cleaning it was easy as well. It all comes apart so all crevices are easy to clean. Very happy with how well this worked! Highly recommend this as it is a cost savings over other brands and works flawlessy.
It does the job!

Easy to use, easy to clean. I made about 12 dozen cookies with it. It did the job nicely. Hint: put your baking sheet in the freezer for about five minutes and the dough will stick nicely.
Easy to make great cookies

What a fantastic cookie press, for such a reasonable price to. Load the dough to the cylinder, actuate the lever one or twice to get the dough to come out evenly and away you go. So easy to use. Hold the end of the press on the cookie sheet and actuate the lever one time. No guessing how much to press. Once is sufficient for depositing the correct amount of dough. Cleans up easy and the variety of different shapes is great for many type of cookies. We love this press. It is by far the best value we have seen in this kind of appliance.

The media could not be loaded. I haven't used it yet but I'm sure it will do the job. I have experience in the mechanical field so I know what to look for in things like this. I unboxed it and looked it over carefully and all the pieces seem to be carefully made. There isn't a lot of extra "flashing" (the sharp bits of plastic left over from the casting process to make them). The mechanism works smoothly and retracts smoothly as well, which some cheaper models don't always do. Overall, you'll save a ton of time and will probably be invited to a cooking show when word gets put about your cookie decorating prowess. Get a second one and fill it with homemade caulk to seal those gaps in the bathroom, around the sink, under the toilet and around windows. Don't forget to mark your guns. Baked caulking compound has a much different taste and smell than baked cookies, and it takes a little getting used to for some folks. It also has a tip that looks like a giant hypodermic needle, for those extra stubborn marinades you can't inject with a syringe, or for those emergency situations where help is just too far away and you need to buy those extra few minutes. Again, mark your parts. Nobody wants to inject caulking compound into their turkey (high in trans fats) or inject Nana's famous gingerbread dough into someone they're trying to save. The possibilities are endless. Great press.
