The 150W units I bought are of excellent quality and sturdy. The lamps are almost ridiculously bright and light up my parking area like the sun. Mounting presented a few challenges, but nothing difficult.
The cord is designed to be connected inside the mounting bracket when attached to a square pole or similar flat surface directly over where the power will come in, which is why it's so short. The mounting holes on the bracket are about 4" or 4-1/2" on center, too wide to mount the bracket directly on the box, but the lamp is too heavy to do it that anyway. I mounted mine directly to the wall with a couple of 3/8" x 2-1/2" lag bolts.
I had to lengthen the power cord to reach the box where the previous yard lights were mounted.
What I did was remove the circular plate on the knuckle opposite of the angle adjustment bolt, drill a 7/8" hole in it and mount a 1/2" weatherproof cord grip. Then, I dismantled the lamp and replaced the cord with a longer one - it's 18/3 SJOW cable - I used about 24", which I then routed to the cast box through one of the 1/2" threaded holes the previous yard lights were in, using another 1/2" cord grip. SOJW is stranded, oil-resistant and suitable for use outdoors. It will need to be secured to keep ice or whatever from pulling on it.
If you don't wish to have the photocell turn the lights on and off, a piece of durable metal foil tape across the sensing window will do the trick and it will come on either with a switch or motion sensor, which is what I did. My motion sensor is made by RAB, and it has a daylight sensor of its own, so I didn't want both.

Great value for what you get. Lots and lots of light for using less than 2 amps.

I have bought three 150W lamps for my property.

The brightness is blinding. The build is strong, heavy and well machined. The lamps look, feel and weight like they should. They will light up a good 50 feet from side to side. You can adjust how far forward the lamp shines by adjusting the elbow joint with 12mm hex key (included) and how far sideways by adjusting mounting height. One of my lamps is below a concrete eave facing East, which creates significant shade over the lamp in the afternoon hours but, regardless of this, the solar sensor turns on/off the lamp properly.

IMO, only things that need improvement are:
- Length of electric connection should be longer. Six more inches would allow more versatility when mounting, especially against a concrete wall which might require a separate electrical box to protect the connection.
- Some installations would be easier if the lamp mount had notches that allowed cables to enter the mount for installations on concrete.
- Gauge of wires should be at least 14AWG. The lamp comes with very thin stranded wires. Hooking those thin cables to a typical US 14 or 12AWG circuits can be a pain, especially if using solid copper wire. Soldering the connections might also be a good idea when installing the lamp.

Besides those few details, this was a superb product. Will buy 3 more soon.
