Perfect fix for GM oversight

Fits my 18 Sierra 1500 perfectly and does what it's intended to.
Yes, it completely covers the well below and makes it hidden but the name is a bit cheesy if you ask me. Nobody is buying this to hide stuff, it's a fix to a goofy GM design flop.
The cover is sturdy, it has a tiny tiny amount of play but not enough to do anything about. The cubby below is still big enough to hold quite a bit (easily handles a roll of Copenhagen).
I thought about making my own out of kydex but it would have lacked the rubber mat. Plus for the price paid, I couldn't really justify the time spent on a DIY.

I never liked that BIG HOLE in my Chevy console, so this really dresses it up. My gripe would be what everyone else mentioned and that is the little tab that you're to use to pull it up. It's a little frustrating and should be bigger or shaped with a little ridge so it's easier to pull up. Glad I bought it. It dresses that space up and gives a secret hiding area underneath. It'd be a 5 star if not for the skimpy tab to pull it up.

Finally, a solution for what I see as the only flaw in my 2017 Silverado interior design! I've have hated that center console and always thought, "Why didn't they put a lid or flip top on that spot!", and the shape of it? Ugh! This now makes that useless area into a hidden compartment, and make the rest of it totally usable for laying your phone or other items down temporarily. As others have mentioned the 'tab' could have been a little taller but doesn't take away from the overall benefit of it. I might remove the tab and put a cloth pull tab, or button pull on it later. But for now, it's just fine.
Does what its supposed to do.

Not bad for the price. Custom ones could cost up to $80 or more. I know a guy that makes them but this will do for now. Like the idea of being able to still use the pen holder tracks. I use them for my phone also. Keeps me from filling the bottom with junk. Could keep stuff out of sight underneath like cash or wallet. Pull tab is convenient for taking it off too. I do wish it was twice as thick but seems to hold up to everything I put on it so far. It will hold 2 16oz. Cans if that helps
