I was a bit hesitant from some of the negative reviews, but they're good in my opinion. The blue light is bright, but not too bright, and especially because I shut down my pc at night, so it doesn't bother me while sleeping. The quality is clear and crisp, good balance. I'm no expert at all, but it does the job nicely.

I will say two complaints, 1 I didn't think about it, but they're pretty low, so the sound is coming from down low, so unless I built a thing to make them more ear level, that's a bit annoying. And 2 the volume control and switch to turn on and off is on the cord, so unless I have the long cord draped on my desk, I can't control my volume. So I just have it at full and use my internal volume to adjust.

For small speakers, they sound good for voices but if you want base, they are not it..... The small size is good for my desk as I am a bit cramped. I do a lot of Zoom and WebEx meetings and the speakers do voice reproduction very well. I also like how the base glows blue when they are on.

So, i just received these Amazon basic speakers and at first I was very skeptical. When i plugged them in, only the right side was working(Right side is the one with the volume rocker). I thought i received a faulty product and was ready to contact support, but I decided to tinker with my audio settings first before judging too quickly. I was messing around with the audio settings on my windows pc and it turns out that both speakers DO work, but for some reason, something either on my pc or in my settings was only making it play from one side. I figured it might just be the 3.5mm port on my pc, but after about 10 minutes of being idle, I tried playing audio again, and it just started working?? Don't really know why it started working, but it did.

Now, in terms of sound. Its definitely not the best. You get what you pay for. You can't expect these to be super high quality audio when it you're only paying $15-$20. If that's what you're looking for, then these are not for you. If you're looking to have some type of audio because your monitor doesn't have any speakers then these are definitely for you. My Monitor doesn't have any built in speakers and I got tired of having to use headphones/earphones just to listen to some music or watch videos. It became annoying and tiresome. These definitely changed that, and I'm glad I made the purchase. Overall, they are okay. I just hope they last a while.

Nothing to complain about considering they are budget computer speakers. They sound great for YouTube or any other internet surfing. I don't use them for playing a movie / streaming as I watch tv in the living room not on my computer - so I can't comment about the speakers in that respect. But overall, they sound just fine doing computer things. I imagine anyone who is looking for a gaming setup will probably look for a pricier option, but again no distortion from what I can see with these.

My monitor, typical of todays monitors, had a very low volume output. I needed something a bit louder but didn't want to go big. These fitted the bill of using a small footprint on my desk, and using the USB and Audio ports on the monitor, so easy to setup. They are plenty loud enough for individual use. OK they won't broadcast to the whole house if that's what you want, but they are clear, nice and punchy for the speaker size and they just do it for a cheap price.
