Highly respected security software. I like how it works ... fast scans, light on resources, and useful additional utilities included. I bought the 10 device download this year because we have added some more devices.

You see 4 stars above, but this is going to sound like a 1 star review ... read on.

Webroot won't match the Amazon price. Their automatic renewal price is double Amazon's new price! Even for a long time customer like me. I have called them every year and only succeeded in getting a match once in about 5 years ... and that time was a big hassle. Buying it new each year is a hassle as well, because you have to download, reinstall the software and enter the verification key on each device. But why would I pay double for a seamless renewal which is easier and more profitable for them as well? So ... what should be 5 stars for Webroot is now 4 stars because of the inconvenience they've caused me each year with this totally illogical pricing. Webroot could easily fix this and get my 5 stars next year!!?? Or not ... then maybe I'll give them 3 stars next year!

So today they doubled the download price to $100 ... I paid $49.99 for the 10 device download in December. Two 5 device downloads are $80!!!! Really??? ... excuse me while my head explodes!

The Webroot website is not easy to use. It is hard to find a telephone number to call but fortunately Amazon was on the ball, contacted Webroot and Webroot did a great job (finally) of taking care of the situation. I did lose a few days of my protection but after running this program for nearly a year before it is great. Fast and no virus or malware. Never had that happen with other anti-virus that is why I am using them again Be advised this product does not work iPhones

Have been using Webroot for several years and have always been able to renew by purchasing a subscription through Amazon and updating the keycode in my current product. Have tried several times on different computers and new keycode is not accepted. Webroot web site is useless. Looks like I am through with Webroot.
Webroot support finally got back to me and reset the key - works ok now

I like the protection but the renewal is a pain. I advise you try the key code once. Then if it doesn't work, sign into your webrootanywhere.com account and submit your key code and ask them to reactivate it. I have been told that some of the family packs go dormant and they have to be reactivated. They will let you know when they reactivate it. They invite you to keep reaching out if that doesn't work. It does take a bit to go through the communication process but in the end so far I have always got it working.

Have been using webroot for many many years. Started using it way back when it used to be called spysweeper. Since its been cloud based its been awesome and super fast in scanning and removing if it happens to find something. It never fails to protect a system installed on and never slows anything down. Even very old systems run it with no issues. Nor does it get in the way during everyday use such as Norton and McAfee do blocking legit programs or nagging with their system messages. I do not need an AV to try to sell me on other products they offer or try to enable features I do not want such as add on firewall etc. Webroot never does that what you choose to enable is what's running and protecting. If you turn it all on great if you choose to switch something off it will alert you once but that is all. It does not go behind your back changing things. This version for 10 devices is a great deal since its often on sale on Amazon and allows you to protect all the devices in your household or of friends and family. People saying the product does not activate just need to reach out to webroot support via their email support portal so they can assist. I personally did not experience any issues with the keycode but I always ask webroot support to add the days from the new keycode to my existing in use keycode as to avoid having to update each device with the new keycode. Their support is always helpful and gets it handled quickly. Will continue to enjoy the fast lightweight performance of webroot.
