This works just fine and was a fraction of the cost of other brands. Yes, the picture shows purple, but the description says Walnut so if you are set on a purple staple remover, don't purchase this. Otherwise, it is a great buy.
Check and make sure you are getting the correct one.

I thought I was getting the purple one, but that is not what came. Went back to check and saw the color name after. Oh well, it will still work and have less likely hood of being taken from the desk since it is not purple.
